Sofia Persson Björk speaks at Nordic Chip Meet-Up in Trondheim

Qamcom takes part in the Nordic Chip Meet-Up in Trondheim on 29–30 September, a two-day gathering that brings Nordic and European industry and academia together around the future of semiconductors. The meet-up is a side event of the Trondheim Tech Festival and follows earlier editions in Helsinki and Lund.

Access to engineering skills is one of the practical limits on how quickly the Nordic chip industry can grow. Sofia Persson Björk, Manager Sales and Operation at Qamcom, joins the session on talent development and attraction, which covers the full range: education, reskilling and international recruitment.

The first day runs at DIGS in central Trondheim and covers the EU Chips Act, chip design as a Nordic stronghold, advanced packaging and AI workflows for chip design. The second day is dedicated to site visits at Nordic Semiconductor, Arm Norway and Microchip.
