An RF and EMC specialist at Qamcom, guiding products through certification and helping build out Qamcom's own EMC lab.
One of Simon's biggest engagements is with Mabtech – a Swedish life science company developing laboratory instruments for immunology research.
Their products need EMC and compliance certification for the EU and US markets, where late issues can delay a launch.
Simon handles the full EMC and compliance process for Mabtech's instruments – scoping test campaigns, running tests at RISE and in Qamcom's lab, and producing the documentation behind the CE marking.
By catching issues early in Qamcom's lab – before expensive final testing – Simon keeps certification on track and prevents the late-stage surprises that delay product launches.
