A world-leading microwave solutions company needed to scale up product development quickly — not with a handful of consultants, but with a complete cross-functional team that could take full responsibility and be productive from day one.
Challenge
Our client, a world leading company within microwave solutions, needed to expand their development organization. In this case with an additional complete team with full responsibility and the right competences – that could be up and running fast.
Solution
- A team with a mixed competence set was created with resources from different companies within the Qamcom group.
- Team competences: microwave design, SW, HW, system design and test.
- Together more than 80 years of experience of developing complex microwave products and several PhD degrees.
- A test bench within the customers test network was set up at Qamcom.
Outcome
Several generations of customer products were developed in this setup.
The team became a central part of the customer product development organization.
